Shawe Memorial participated in the Lou Knoebel XC invitational hosted by MCHS this past Saturday.
In the meet, Shawe had two runners place in the top 20.
Cavaan Hambrick placed 6th with a time of 18:41
Nate Fewell placed 11th with a time of 19:48
Greensburg won both the boys and girls races.
Shawe will be in action next Tuesday in the Pacer Invitational hosted by Switzerland Co

Shawe Boys soccer claim Twister Cup hosted by Oldenburg played at Batesville
Won first game over Scottsburg 3-0.
Goals for Shawe Martin Gomez, Leo Garcia, Gus Grote. Rodrigo Reyes-Miranda 1 assist.
In game two Shawe won, defeating Oldenburg 4-0.
Gus Grote 3 goals, 1 assist. Martin Gomez 1 goal, 1 assist.

Shawe girls participated in that Oldenburg twister cup Saturday and came home with a second place finish behind Oldenburg. The lady Toppers played short handed do to 3 not make the trip for different reasons and by the time we got there 4 more was sick 3 of them being starters. The first game Shawe handed FW Cantabury at 3 to 0 loss . After leading 1 to 0 at half on a goal by Taytum Gray Shawe came out and controlled the second half scoring on a break away goal by Jenna Flint and 10 minutes later Maria Ameca-mendoza scored off an assist by Jenna Flint. Shawe out shot the lady Cavs 23 to 2 . Later that day Shawe played Oldenburg and was handed a 9 to 1 loss being out shot 16 to 2 goal scored on a shot from 25 yards out by Kinsley Pollitt. Shawe is now 2 and 1 and will play next on Tuesday at Rising Sun at 5:30.
Southwestern 4, Austin 0
We now have 11 players and played our first game tonight at home with Austin. The whole team played well and played great team ball! Harlee Turner got us on the board with an assist from Amelia Sloan. Harlee put another in the back of the net and Amelia followed to make the score 3-0 at half. With no subs and the sun out the girls did a great job of switching positions to get a bit of rest. Many girls got shots off and then Amelia scored again with 14 to go in the game. We won our first game 4-0.
TENNIS:
Southwestern Tennis was runners up at the Pekin Invitational today, finishing a close 2nd to a good Paoli squad. Winning their divisions were Talon Wynn at #2 singles and Quenton Lewis at #3 singles. Braxton Lewis was runner up at #1 singles
