HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL:

Trimble Co. over Owen Co. 61-49. Reece Webster 15 for the Raiders.

Carroll Co. defeats Eminence 65-41. Keishaun Mumphrey had career-high 20 points for the Panthers.

Switzerland Co. falls to South Decatur 77-68. Damian Breeck 25 for the Pacers.

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Madison falls to New Washington 54-51. Lunden Perry and Jade Nutley 15 each for the Lady Cubs.

Southwestern falls to South Dearborn 48-16. Bella Marcum 6 points to led the Lady Rebels, which was without Abby Ralston and Ashton Goode who were ill. Lady Rebels dressed only 7 players. Due to injuries and illness, Southwestern will play New Washington in a varsity only girls basketball game on Thursday. 6:30 will be the start time.

Scottsburg defeats Shawe 71-29. Kate Grote 18 for the Lady Toppers.

Carroll Co. over Shelby Co. 45-40.

 

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING:

Madison defeated North Harrison 43-42, but fell to West Washington 52-25

 

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING:

Madison fell to Floyd Central in boys 134-36 and in girls 132-36

 

For the second week in a row the Southwestern boys basketball team is ranked 6th in class 2A.
