Madison, Indiana  – The City of Madison will soon welcome a new restaurant option as Zaxbys prepares to open at the Shoppes at Sunrise Crossing located on Madison's hilltop. Southern Indiana business partners Todd and Jerry Ayers and Rob Disney are expanding their footprint with their fifth Zaxby's location, bringing Zaxby's signature hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz, wings, Zalads, and signature sauces to our community.

“We are excited to finish this phase of the Shoppes at Sunrise Crossing with the addition of Zaxbys next to the Mattress Firm,” said Tony Steinhardt, Deputy Mayor. “Given the success of the main tenants at the Shoppes, we have a lot of interest in Madison.”

Jerry Ayers, one of the partners, emphasized the team’s commitment beyond just great food. “We are excited to partner with schools and community initiatives, just as we have in our other four Southern Indiana communities. Madison’s success with its Destination Madison plan made it an easy investment for us.”

Mayor Bob Courtney welcomed the addition of Zaxbys as part of the city’s ongoing efforts to enhance dining options. “We are happy to welcome Zaxbys to Madison as one more unique restaurant offering in our Destination Madison Plan. We are continuing to work hard on other new announcements and remain committed to attracting a sit-down restaurant to the area as well.”

Guests will be able to enjoy Zaxbys delicious menu offerings through dine-in, drive-thru, and online ordering. The grand opening is scheduled for August 2025. Stay tuned for details and promotions by following @ChickenAyresSouthernIndianaZaxbys on social media or visiting www.zaxbysca.com.
