Winter Weather Advisory until 1:00AM Monday

Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will be possible

A quick moving weather system will bring a mix of rain and snow to the region on Sunday. As colder air drops in behind the system late Sunday afternoon and evening, the rain and snow mix will change over to plain snow before ending around mid-evening Sunday. Some light snowfall accumulations will be possible across southern Indiana and portions of north-central and east-central Kentucky.

* WHAT...A rain and snow mix throughout the day on Sunday with the mix changing over to plain snow by Sunday evening. Total snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will be possible.

* WHERE...All of south central Indiana and portions of north- central and east-central Kentucky.

* WHEN...From 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ Sunday to 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions mainly Sunday evening and early Monday morning.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. Listen to NOAA Weather Radio or your local media for the latest updates on this situation.
