Vevay man arrested for dealing methamphetamine

Search warrant located various items

Early Tuesday morning the Vevay Police Department received information about possible drug activity at an apartment located at 513 Pearl Street. Upon arrival to the apartment, officers witnessed drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment. 


Officers executed a search warrant at 513 Pearl Street, Apartment 2, and located methamphetamine, multiple medical syringes, scales, marijuana, prescription medication, and various items of drug paraphernalia. 


John D. Osborn, was arrested and charged with Dealing of Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony, Possession of Syringe, Level 6 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony, Possession of Marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor, Possession of Paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor


The Vevay Police Department was assisted on scene by members of the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office and the Indiana State Police. Anyone with information about any illegal activity please contact the Vevay Police Department 812-427-3737 . 
All persons that are arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
