(Madison, Ind.) - The City of Madison is reminding residents that Vaughn Drive is still closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
The City of Madison Street Department, Water and Sewer Department, Parks Department, and Volunteer Firefighters are working as quickly as possible to reopen the road. However, they are forced to stop working every time a pedestrian is present.
The city is asking residents to avoid Vaughn Drive until all the work is complete.
This means no walking, running, biking, skateboarding, skating, etc., until the city reopens the road. As a reminder, moving barricades placed by the city is illegal.
