Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Vehicles Passenger

Paul is currently incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail and has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.

(Madison, Ind.) – On Friday, May 15, Deputies with the City of Madison Police arrested Scott D. Paul 30, Lawrenceburg, Indiana, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia & criminal trespassing.

Madison police Patrolman Cameron Blankenship observed a Silver Toyota being driven by Breonna M. Youngblood, 29, of Madison. Patrolman Blankenship had prior knowledge that Youngblood did not possess a valid operator's license, and thus executed a traffic stop.

As a result of the traffic stop and a search of the vehicle, Youngblood was cited for marijuana ad driving without a license (never issued).

Scott D. Paul, Youngblood’s passenger, Scott D. Paul was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, and paraphernalia associated with the use of a drug.

Paul is currently incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail and has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty. 

Patrolman Blankenship was assisted by Madison Police Sergeant Shawn Scudder and Sr. Patrolman Aaron Watson.
