Three Rivers Health District Announce Positive COVID Cases From Owen County Haunted Trail

Three Rivers District Health Department is urging Owen County Project Graduation to cease operations of the Owen County Haunted Trail immediately.

(Owen County, Ky.) – Three Rivers District Health Department has announced that there have been three positive cases of COVID-19 that have been associated with a community event.

The health department has announced that three volunteer workers in the Owen County Haunted Trail who were there on October 15 through 17 and on October 24, had tested positive for COVID.

Now, the health department is advising those who were at the trail on these dates to make sure that you monitor yourself for symptoms and seek testing if you become symptomatic.

Symptoms include but are not limited to:

• Fever
• Dry Cough
• Fatigue
• Sore Throat
• Diarrhea
• Headache
• Loss of Taste or Smell
• Shortness of Breath
• Chest Pain or Pressure

Three River District Health Department is continuing to discourage attending high risk activities such as door-to-door trick-or-treating, costume parties, haunted houses, hayrides, fall festivals, or similar events.
