Three Narcotic Related Arrest Made By MPD

All three arrests were on separate occasions. 

(Madison, Ind.) - It was a busy weekend for the City of Madison police patrolman who arrested three on narcotic-related charges. 

All three arrests were on separate occasions. 

The first arrest occurred on December 12, at approximately 3:40 a.m. Patrolman Jordan Perry conducted a traffic stop at Main & Jefferson Streets for erratic driving.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Anna K. Perfect, 24 North Vernon, Indiana.  Perfect was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (endangerment) possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (2-counts), and possession of methamphetamine.  

On December 13, at approximately 8:35 p.m. Sr. Patrolman Aaron Watson conducted a traffic stop at Crozier Ave and State Road #7.  The driver was identified as Chad T, Hester 40, Madison, Indiana.  Hester had an outstanding warrant out of Jefferson County, Indiana, for Failure To Appear.  In addition to the warrant, Hester was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.  

On December 14, at approximately 12:14 a.m. Patrolman Cody Lewis conducted a traffic stop at Third & Mill Streets.  Investigating officers noted an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle,  which was being driven by Caleb Wilking 28, Madison, Indiana.  During the probable cause search of Wilking's vehicle, officers located over 2 ounces of marijuana, a Level 6 felony possession.
