A suspect related to a shooting in North Vernon in the area of Noon Drive has been identified and arrested, according to the North Vernon Police Department.
A suspect related to a shooting in North Vernon in the area of Noon Drive has been identified and arrested, according to the North Vernon Police Department.
The suspect, 18-year-old Hunter Spicer, was identified as a suspect on Nov. 23.
Through multiple interviews, investigators identified Spicer as being a principal person allegedly firing between one and three shots during the event.
Spicer was arrested following an interview at the police department. He was charged with criminal recklessness with a firearm, a level five felony.
On Nov. 21 around 6:56 p.m., officers from the North Vernon Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Noon Drive and Browstown Road.
Officers arrived and were told multiple shots were fired in the driveway of a residence before two vehicles left.
Both vehicles were located and the occupants were detained.
North Vernon investigators recovered shell casings from the driveway of the home involved and conducted interviews with the people involved.
