Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance personnel from the Madison Unit have been scheduled to remove and replace a failed drainage pipe under State Road 62 in Jefferson County next Tuesday (SEPT 18), weather permitting.
Motorists will be detoured around the closure site at barricades placed on S.R. 62 at Hall’s Corner Road and Bacon Ridge Road. The location is approximately three miles west of Canaan. Operations will begin at 8:30 a.m. and should be completed by mid-afternoon.
The new pipe measures 18 inches in diameter and 40 feet in length
