Drugs located
On Saturday April 20, a Carroll County Deputy responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a suspected shoplifter.
Upon the deputy's arrival in the rear of the store the suspect fled through the garden area. The deputy engaged in a foot pursuit and apprehended the suspect near the gas pumps.
Approximately $100.00 worth of stolen merchandise was recovered.
During a search of the suspect, needles and drugs were found.
The suspect was charged with Theft, fleeing and evading, along with drug charges.
The deputy transported the suspect to the Carroll County Detention Center.
