Stolen from Rural Jefferson County

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating numerous unauthorized entries of motor vehicles that occurred within the last 24 hours. Two vehicles have been reported stolen, one of which was recovered abandoned in Switzerland County.
We are currently pursuing leads and believe that at least four individuals are involved. Any information regarding these crimes is greatly appreciated.
Locations currently reported are on Chicken Run Road, Crozier AV, N. Borcherding Road, N 600 W, N 300 E, N. Rykers Ridge Road, E. Esplano Drive,and E. Pleasant Ridge Road. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office requests that anyone living on these roads that have video recording equipment to please review their video on 9/7/2021 between 12 midnight and 5 am.
One stolen vehicle has not been recovered, it is described as a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse, Indiana plate number BI818H.
