(Indianapolis, Ind.) – For many Hoosiers, struggling with mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, or grief may not be something they have experienced before.
Indiana Family and Social Services Administration is helping support the Be Well Indiana initiative by providing access to tools and resources that can help people identify what they may be feeling and connecting them with resources that can help them through it.
After launching just one week ago, over 25,000 people have visited BeWellIndiana.org, and that is just the beginning with the resources and tools available.
Through this website, Hoosiers can take one of several Mental Health Self- Assessments offered by Mental Health America specific to their needs or what they may be feeling. These quick assessments can help the users decide if they could better manage their feelings, or if they should seek additional support.
Be Well has also put out a series of short, simple videos, where Hoosiers can learn coping tips from local experts in a variety of fields such as mental health, substance use disorder, and more. If you would like to watch these video you can click here.
