Second Earthquake Hits Kentucky In Last Eight Days

7 days 15 hours until the 2019 Central U.S. ShakeOut and Kentucky was hit with their 2nd earthquake in the past eight days.

On Thursday a 2.4-magnitude earthquake happened outside of Shelbyville.

The U.S. Geological Survey has reported an earthquake in southern Kentucky around 5:30 Saturday afternoon.

The 2.7-magnitude earthquake happened in between Somerset and London

The earthquake happened 13 miles away from downtown Somerset and 30 miles south of Berea.

The depth was 3.47 miles.
