Over seven-thousand Hoosier teachers are registered to attend Red for Ed Action Day.  It's happening November 19th at the Statehouse in Indianapolis.

The Indiana State Teachers Association is organizing the event, which will call on lawmakers to address issues that teachers and school staff face.

The Madison Consolidated Schools have added an eLearning day so the teachers can attend the Indiana State Teachers Association sponsored event. Jennings Co. and the Greater Clark  School System's will also be closed that day.
