Reckless Driver in North Vernon Leads to Arrest

Facing Several Charges

A Madison woman is facing multiple charges after a vehicle pursuit led to her arrest just outside of North Vernon

Cara Ross, 49, faces Level 6 felony charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and criminal recklessness with a vehicle, as well as a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.

It was determined through the investigation that Ross was not intoxicated. She was transported to the Jennings County Jail. She made a court appearance and was released on a Promise to Appear that same day. Ross’s initial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 6.
