(Carroll County, Ky.) – Learning is in full swing for the Carroll County School District.
With school being online for the first nine weeks, there are many questions about when the return to in-person classes will begin, how to go about online schooling, and much more.
This new way of learning can be very confusing for many parents and guardians, but just know that you are not alone. The school has compiled all of the frequently asked questions and has even made a website that parents and guardians can follow along with as the reopening stages continue.
Online schooling also calls for some troubles with computers as well. If your student is having trouble with their computer, you can contact the school's tech support between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling (502) 732-1066.
Earlier this week the school also announced that they have decided to make a Comprehensive District Improvement Plan committee for the 2020-2021 school year. This committee will include one community representative.
With much interest shown in the position, the school is asking for families to vote for the individuals who you would like to see serve. You can vote here until 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 28.
The school is also delivering meals to all enrolled students Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at 11 locations around the community. If you would like your child to receive meals parents, guardians, or students must complete the one-time registration process.
