Scott County-On August 16, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Corporal Charlie Morgan responded to rural Scott County on a disturbance. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Paige Mullins, 31, of Austin for Domestic Battery Committed in the Presence of a Chile Under the Age of 16, Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery, No Injury Victim is a Public Official and Escape, Flees From Lawful Detention.

On August 18, 2021, Corporal Charlie Morgan responded to a disturbance call in Scottsburg. While responding an attempt to locate dispatch was put out for a vehicle leaving the disturbance. Shortly thereafter Corporal Morgan observed what was believed to be the alleged suspect vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle continued into a parking lot striking a parked vehicle before finally stopping.
An investigation led to the arrest of Nicholas Simale, 27, of Scottsburg for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Prior, Operating with a BAC of 0.08 or More, Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of 0.15 or More and Habitual Traffic Violator.

On August 19, 2021, Deputy Skylar Thompson and First Sergeant Charlie Morgan conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County. An investigation led to the arrest of Dillian Shofner, 21, of Austin for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

On August 19, 2021, First Sergeant Charlie Morgan and Deputy Todd Hooker responded to rural Scott County for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of two people on alcohol related charges.
Girdley Combs, 56, of Lexington, IN, was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Operating While Intoxicated and Operating While Intoxicated Refusal.
Garrett Combs, 59, of Columbus, IN, was arrested for Public Intoxication.
