(Madison, Ind.) - Pope John XXIII Elementary School holds a Peer Mentor contest.

The contest which includes the students handing out and collecting pledge sheets, making a display board, and presenting a Catholic Character Value, is put on by the school's Guidance Counselor, Kim Deffenbaugh.

In the month of January, there were two teams that had won the contest.

Team one consisted of Jenna Flint, Ruby Martin, and Lauren Gage with the other being Paolo SanPedro and Connor Kahn.

“Both of these teams did an outstanding presentation on the Catholic Character Value of Humility. I am proud of all the Peer Mentors at both Pope John & Shawe for the work of Jesus that they are doing each month,” said Deffenbaugh.
