This incident occurred in the early morning hours of August 10.

(Carroll County, Ky.) – Around 1:00 a.m. on August 10, deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to an unknown type of trouble call near I-71.
Upon arrival, further investigation found that a Northbound driver hit the bridge near KY 227 and dropped approximately 40 feet to the railroad tracks below.
The driver was flown to the University Hospital for treatment of injuries.
