Multiple Crews Respond To Milton Home Fire

All crews worked several hours to extinguish the flames

(Milton, Ky.) – Crews with Milton Fire and Rescue responded to two reports of active fires over the weekend.

The first fire was located at 209 Snell Road in Milton.

Crews from Milton, Bedford, and the City of Madison Fire Department arrived on the scene and found a two-story residential structure on fire. Due to the size of the fire, mutual aid from Westside Fire and Madison Township Fire was requested.

All crews worked several hours to extinguish the flames. There was severe damage to the property, but no injuries to the residents. Two dogs passed in the fire.

At this time the cause of the fire is unknown. Trimble County EMS and the Trimble County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.

The second was reported at 6960 Highway 421 North in Milton where there was a Polaris on fire in a field.

Crews arrived on the scene and were able to extinguish the flames quickly. The occupant was able to make it out uninjured.
