Multiple Counties Under Winter Weather Advisory Until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday

The heaviest snowfall is expected between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) – The Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency announced that the county is currently under a winter weather advisory until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Snow showers are expected, lasting through the overnight hours, and tapering Tuesday morning.

Light accumulations between a half inch and 1.5 inches are expected in many locations and could cause slick spots on untreated roadways. Isolated instances of amounts up to 2 inches cannot be ruled out for spots that see the most intense snow showers.

This winter weather advisory is for Orange, Washington, Scott, and Jefferson Counties in Indiana.  Also for Trimble County in Kentucky.

The heaviest snowfall is expected between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday.

It is advised to drive slow and use caution while driving.
