MPD Arrest Two Following Traffic Stop

During the stop, officers also observed items consistent with the use of narcotics.

(Madison, Ind.) – On March 22, Madison Police Sr. Patrolman Aaron Watson conducted a traffic stop at Main and Broadway Streets.

While speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, Patrolman Watson recognized the passenger 28-year-old Sidnie Hunter who had an outstanding warrant out of Clark County.

During the stop, officers also observed items consistent with the use of narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine and additional drug paraphernalia.

The driver 44-year-old David J. Knox was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony), and possession of paraphernalia (class a misdemeanor). Sidnie Hunter was taken into custody for the outstanding warrant.
