One patient was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital via air transport.

(Milton, Ky.) – around 2:00 p.m. yesterday, crews with Milton Fire and Rescue responded to a portion of Highway 421 for the report of a two-vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, crews found that the two vehicles had hit head-on.
According to witnesses, the driver of the red Monte Carlo had turned into the path of the Mercedes. One patient was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital via air transport.
Milton Fire and Rescue crews assisted on the scene by getting the patients to ambulances and also assisted with traffic control and debris cleanup.
Bedford Fire and Rescue, and Trimble County EMS also responded to the scene.
