MCS School Board President Resigns

Jodi Yancey, who is currently the Vice President will become board President.

(Madison, Ind.) – It has been announced that Madison Consolidated Schools Board of Trustees President Rob Kring will be resigning.

Kring stated that he will be resigning in order to move closer to his family.

“I want to thank everybody who has supported me for the six years that I have been here. Those who elected me I appreciate the support, and faith that you had in my abilities to get things done. I will tell you that every decision that I have ever made was for what was best for our kids, I can honestly say that. But its truly an honor, Madison Schools is in a great place right now, it is a good time to be a Cub,” said Kring.

MCS will now have 30 days to appoint and replacement board member from Kring’s effective resignation date. The district will advertise procedures for the replacement process.

“Personally I want to thank you for the last six years that you have dedicated to the schools, and I know in my seat that you will be missed and I appreciate all the support, that you have given me as a board member, you have been a great model as a board member,” stated a fellow board member.
