(Madison, Ind.) – For the past couple of months, Madison Consolidated Schools has been collecting data on the eLearning experience that students had due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With 536 participants sharing 748 thoughts with over 12,000 ratings assigned throughout the process, the school stated that the feedback was “thoughtful, constructive, and will be helpful in guiding future work.”
The school organized the top-rated thoughts into five main areas in order to provide a starting place for data analysis.
The identified themes are:
- Classroom Environment - this theme contains the top-rated thoughts around classroom technology use, instruction delivery, work assigned, etc.
- Motivation & Accountability - a collection of feedback topics around student motivation and overall accountability measures.
- Communication - a place where we collected the feedback around communications from the district, building, and classroom levels.
- Preparedness & Social-Emotional Supports - this theme is a place for appreciation, supports, and services provided throughout the eLearning period.
- Training Opportunities - we will use this feedback as a starting point for content creation for students, parents, and staff.
“We launched our eLearning Experience Feedback exchange as a way to discover different perspectives and better understand what went well and where we could improve our overall process to create a meaningful and engaging digital learning environment for everyone,” said the school.
