Madison Township Responded To Two Fires Last Night

There were no injuries reported in either fire.

(Madison, Ind.) – Last night, Madison Township Fire responded to the report of two structure fires.

According to Madison Township, the first fire broke out on Dawson Smith Road and was able to respond to the scene within 6 minutes of the report. While on the scene, Madison Township was assisted by Rykers Ridge, Dupont Fire.

Fire personnel was released from the scene around 10:00 p.m.

At approximately 12:45 a.m. Madison Township was then paged to assist with a structure fire in the Kent Volunteer Fire district on 500 North. While en route other tankers were paged to assist with manpower to extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries reported in either fire.
