Madison Man Arrested For Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest

Madison Police Officers  Brad Demaree and Trent Smith investigated the call.  


(Madison, Ind.) - On October 28, the Madison Police responded to a report of a male subject who was creating a disturbance in the 300 block of E. Fourth Street. 

Upon arrival, officers located the individual in question and identified his as Christian B. Horton, 25. Horton displayed signs of obvious intoxication, and was also found to be in possession of alcohol. 

When officers attempted to take him into custody, Horton resisted arrest. Once finally apprehended, a subsequent search of Horton's person revealed that he was also in possession of over six grams of methamphetamine. 

Horton was then transported to the Jefferson County jail where he now faces the preliminary alleged charges of; possession of methamphetamine (level 5 felony), resisting law enforcement (class A misdemeanor), and public intoxication (class B misdemeanor).
