Officer Barnes found Johnson-Hollins to be in possession of a handgun, which was located on Hollins’ lap with his finger on the trigger. Upon the arrival of Sergeant Shawn Scudder, and Patrolman Trent Smith, Johnson-Hollins was eventually taken into custody.

The handgun was found to be loaded, and his vehicle was in drive.
