The Madison-Jefferson Co. animal shelter is again back to normal business hours after staff training last week.
Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays noon - 5 p.m.
Tuesday closed to the public
Wednesday 1 p.m.- 7 p.m.
Saturday noon - 4 p.m.
Sunday noon - 3 p.m.

I walk nicely on a leash, though sometimes you'll need to hold on tight as I'm a strong 77 lbs guy.
I do not like cats, so I need a home without them.
I also can react to other dogs. so I recommend that I'm your only pet.
However, I do get along with some dogs here at the shelter, so talk to the staff if you're considering giving me a try.
I definitely need to be on leash when not in a securely-fenced yard.
Since I'm already NEUTERED, my adoption fee is just $45 plus the cost of my rabies vaccination at the vet of your choice.
