Madison Consolidated teachers held a walk-in as teachers, administrators, and staff begin day with a walk-in

To show solidarity in support of all our public schools

Across the state we've been seeing lots of Indiana teachers in the news wearing red for their support of public education.

This morning Madison Consolidated teachers held a walk-in as teachers, administrators, and staff wore red, meet at the flagpole, and walked in together at the beginning of school to show solidarity in support of all our public schools.

Although the legislative session is over, there is still an election coming up quickly. Madison schools are encouraging current politicians and candidates to acknowledge and support the teachers and the community public schools.

They want the public to know who they are and that they support public education.
