(Madison, Ind.) – Madison Consolidated schools have announced that they have made a few changes to their reentry plan.
The new changes refer to mask requirements, and COVID diagnosis information, and sports.
When the school first released their plans, they stated that face masks were highly recommended after receiving feedback from a recent survey, the school has announced that they will now be requiring face mask for all junior high and high school staff and students.
The exceptions are PE class, band class, and lunch (when eating).
The school is now also making it a requirement for parents to report a diagnosis of COVID to the school.
Lastly, the school previously announced that students who participate in online schooling will not be able to participate in athletics, but has since changed this to say that all students virtual or traditional can participate in sports.
