KSP Post 5 Investigating Shooting Death of Madison Man

(Bedford, KY.) - The Kentucky State Police Post 5 is investigating the shooting death of Timothy Luke Webster, 48, of Madison.

On Saturday, March 21, just before midnight, Post 5 has received a call from Herman Webster reporting that shots had been fired at 32 Callis Lane in Bedford. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered Timothy Webster was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

Through investigation, it appears that Timothy arrived at the residence late that evening in an intoxicated state and began shooting a firearm inside the residence and making threats toward his father.

Herman then attempted to flee the residence and was followed by Timothy. While still on the property Herman fired a separate firearm, striking Timothy in the chest.

Timothy was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trimble County Coroner.

There have not been any arrest or charges filed in regard to this incident at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
