KDH hosting Community Medication / Syringe Drop Off on June 9

MADISON, Ind. – King’s Daughters’ Health will host a free community Medication / Syringe Drop Off from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 at its Main Campus Medical Building, 1373 East SR 62, Madison. The Medication / Syringe Drop Off event provides an opportunity for everyone to safely dispose of unused and unneeded medications, along with used syringes. No questions will be asked. The disposal site will be located in front of the Medical Office Entrance on the main KDH campus.

 

Safely disposing of unused and unneeded medications reduces the risk of medications being taken inappropriately or after expiration. The Medication Syringe Drop Off is sponsored the Kings’ Daughters’ Health, the Jefferson County Health Department, Madison City Police, and the Jefferson County Sheriff. Additional dates in 2018 include: Saturday, September 8 and Saturday, December 8.
