(Jennings County, Ind.) – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to be aware of new scam calls that are out.
The callers are identifying themselves as being from a Health Department or CDC and asking for personal information. At no time should any of the Health Department or CDC officials calling be asking for personal information or banking information.
The sheriff’s office stated that if they ask you for that information residents should ask them what agency they are with and look up the phone number for the agency.
