Jennings Co. Sheriff's Office Make Six Drug Related Arrest

During the course of the investigation, illegal drugs and paraphernalia were located in the residence.

(Jennings County, Ind.) - The Jennings County Sheriff's Office made several drug-related arrested on Wednesday, January 6. 

The Jennings County Sheriff's Office and Indiana State Parole Office Joined efforts to apprehend David Kriete, who was actively wanted on an Offender Retake Warrant from the State Parole Office. 

Upon the arrival at Kriete's residence on Big Pine Drive in the Country Squire Lakes subdivision. Contact was made with Kriete and several other subjects that were located in the residence. During the course of the investigation, illegal drugs and paraphernalia were located in the residence. 

Subsequently, five others were arrested and are currently being held in the Jennings County Jail.

Those arrested and their charges are as follows:

David A. Kriete, 49, of North Vernon - No Bond.

  • Charges: Parole Retake Warrant, Maintaining a Common Nuisance (L6), Possession of Paraphernalia (AM)

Alexandria C. Snyder, 26, of North Vernon - $3105.00 Bond.

  • Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine (L6), Illegal possession of a syringe (L6), Visiting a Common Nuisance (AM)

Brittany R. Erwin, 28, of North Vernon - $1055.00 Bond.

  • Charges: Possession of a Look-Alike Substance (AM), Illegal possession of a syringe (L6), Visiting a Common Nuisance (AM)

Todd A. Barnett, 47, of North Vernon - $1055.00 Bond.

  • Charges: Illegal possession of a syringe (L6), Visiting a Common Nuisance (AM)

Tylor W. Combest, 27, of North Vernon - $1055.00 Bond.

  • Charges: Illegal possession of a syringe (L6), Visiting a Common Nuisance (AM)

Timothy A. Powers, 38, of North Vernon - $1055.00 Bond.

  • Charges: Illegal possession of a syringe (L6), Visiting a Common Nuisance (AM)
