Jefferson Co. Announces Early Voting Dates

Everybody can take advantage of early voting, there does not have to be a reason to cast an early vote.

(Jefferson County, Ind) - As the voting season is starting so the Jefferson County Voter Registration Office is informing residents about early voting.

Early voting will begin in Jefferson County on Tuesday, April 7 starting from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. voting will take place in the Voter Registration Office on the second floor of the Jefferson County Courthouse.

There will also be two Saturday’s open for voting on April 25 and May 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this voting will also take place on the second floor of the courthouse.

The office also would also like the public to know as the COVID-19 virus and Flu virus continues to spread, any voter not wanting to go to a public location to cast their vote can request an Absentee Ballot be sent to their home.

An Absentee Ballot Application can be obtained from the Voter Registration office or online at indianvoters.com. You can also contact the Voter Registration Office at 812-265-8926.

There will be 3 Satellite Voting locations each week for this election:

April 14 Jefferson County EMA- 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (620 Green Rd, Madison)

April 15 Hanover Park- 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (200 Spruce Lane, Hanover)

April 16 Jefferson County EMA - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

April 21 Jefferson County EMA - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

April 22 Hanover Park - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

April 23 Jefferson County EMA - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

April 28 Jefferson County EMA - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

April 29 Hanover Park - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

April 30 Jefferson County EMA - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
