19.26% of registered voters cast their ballot
Incumbent Matt Bevin will be the Republican Party's candidate for governor again in November.
Governor Bevin will seek his second term in office after defeating Rep. Robert Goforth in the Republican primary yesterday.
Bevin claimed more than 50 percent of the votes.
He'll face Attorney General Andy Beshear who won a close contest over House Minority Leader Rocky Adkins on the Democratic side.
Beshear finished with 38 percent of the vote to 32 for Adkins, while Adam Edelen collected 28 percent.

What was expected to be a low turn out turned out not too bad. 658,979 cast their ballots out of the 3,421,796 registered voters for 19.26%.
