ISP-Versailles Post Welcomes New Trooper

(Versailles, Ind.) - The Indiana State Police-Versailles Post is welcoming its newest trooper. 

Trooper Cameron Curry was among 20 new troopers who graduated the 87th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy last week. 

Curry, 29, is a 2015 graduate of Columbus East High School. After high school, he obtained a bachelor's degree in criminal justice before being hired by the Michigan State Police. 

He served there for three years before moving to Bartholomew County, where he was a member of the Columbus Police Department. Curry served the CPD for a year and a half. 

Now, Trooper Curry will undergo field training before beginning solo patrol in zone one of the Versailles District.
