$1 Million to Madison Municipal Airport
The Federal Aviation Administration has announced nine Indiana airports will share more than 3 million dollars in infrastructure grants. The largest of the grants announced Monday was more than 1 million dollars to Madison Municipal Airport to install perimeter fencing. Knox/Starke County airport is getting 600,000 dollars for a runway extension, and Goshen Municipal Airport will receive 540,000 dollars to rehabilitate a runway and taxiway. Other grants are going to airports in Auburn, Salem, and Peru.
