Higher Utility Bills Could Be Coming For LG&E And KU Customers

Pay for equipment upgrades to avoid power outages

Your utility bills could be going up if a proposal is approved.

The proposal would see LG&E residential customers with both gas and electric service pay an additional 109-dollars a year.  KU electric customers would pay an extra 116-dollars annually.

LG&E and KU say the proposal discussed at a public meeting in Louisville last night would pay for equipment upgrades to avoid power outages.
