(UPDATE): The National weather service has upgraded the freeze watch to a freeze warning for tonight into tomorrow.

(Jefferson Co.) - Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency released a statement regarding a freeze watch that went out yesterday by the National Weather Service in Louisville.

The watch will remain in effect until ten o’clock tomorrow morning. The watch affects portions of southern Indiana as well as central Kentucky. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-twenties.

They warn these conditions could kill crops, vegetation, and possibly damage outdoor plumbing. They advise to prepare for these freezing temperatures by wrapping, draining, or slow dripping outdoor faucets and sprinklers.
