Four Arrested On Narcotic Charges

Various narcotics were found during the arrest.

 



(Madison, Ind.) - On March 27, 2020, the Madison Police Department executed a search warrant at 732 W. Third Street Madison, Indiana. The search warrant was the result of information obtained, through an ongoing narcotics investigation, led by Madison Police Detectives Ricky Harris and Kyle Cutshaw. 

During a search of the West Third Street residence, officers seized methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, various pills, various narcotic related paraphernalia, and United States currency. 

As a result of serving the warrant, officers established probable cause for the arrests of Barbara J. Mason 56, Madison, Charles A. Douglass-Bladen 37, Madison, Lea M. Cruz 32, Madison and Ericka M. Schnur 32, Aurora, Indiana.  

Detectives Cutshaw and Harris were assisted in the investigation by Chief John I. Wallace, Captain Rick Mundt, Sergeant Shawn Scudder, Sr. Patrolman Aaron Watson, Patroman Brad Demaree, K-9 "Champi" Patrolman Zack Nicholson, Patrolman James Lee, Patrolman Brian Ashcraft, Patrolman Josh Nolan, Patrolman Cameron Blankenship, Patrolman Jarod Sweet, and Jefferson County Prosecutor David Sutter. All charges are alleged and all suspects have the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. The investigation is ongoing.

* Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony

 

Lea M. Cuz, 32, Madison

* Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony

* Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6 Felony

* Possession of Paraphernalia Class C Misdemeanor

 

Ericka M. Schnur, 32, Aurora, Indiana

* Possession of a Syringe, Level 6 Felony

* Visiting a Common Nuisance Class B Misdemeanor
