County Wide 24 Hour Burn Ban Issued

Any fires that start will likely spread rapidly, outdoor burning is not recommended.

(Madison, Ind.) – The National Weather Service out of Louisville has issued a 24-hour county-wide burn ban that will go into effect beginning today.

The ban will expire on Friday, November 20 at 7:00 a.m. Emergency Management and fire officials will monitor local conditions and will act accordingly as those conditions dictate.

Any fires that start will likely spread rapidly, outdoor burning is not recommended.
