(Madison, Ind.) – On Sunday, November 29 the Madison Fire Department responded to the report of a possible air conditioner fire on the second floor of an apartment building.
Upon arrival, the fire was brought under control in less than 20 minutes.
The residents of the apartment have been given assistance by the American Red Cross to help find temporary lodging.
There were no injuries reported in the fire.
The City of Madison Fire Department stated that residents should be sure that their fire alarms are in working condition. If you need new fire alarms, the fire department will be able to supply them to you free of charge.
