(Carrollton, Ky.) - Carrollton Utilities will flush the fire hydrants on the Carrollton Utilities water system from April 13 through 24.
Flushing will begin at 8:00 AM with completion by 5:00 PM daily.
Flushing of the hydrants is to remove all sediment in the mains and to make sure all hydrants are working properly. Carrollton Utilities suggests that laundry should not be washed while crews are flushing the hydrants as some staining of clothes could occur.
