(Carroll County, Ky.) – Carroll County Parks and Recreation announced yesterday that they have made the difficult decision to suspend the Little League Baseball and Softball Season until further notice.

“After discussion with our County Judge, Fiscal Court and the governor’s most recent directive this difficult decision was reached,” state JP Dale, Parks and Recreation Director.

With the recent spikes of COVID-19, not only in Carroll County but counties around the Commonwealth, the park department believes that this suspension is what is best for the safety and well being of the children and their families.

“We will keep everyone up to date as far as future programming goes,” stated Dale.
