Beshear: Vaccine Eligibility Expanding; Curfew Extended For Bars & Restaurants

Beshear also extended the curfew for bars and restaurants by one hour

(Frankfort, Ky.) – Kentuckians ages 50 and up are now eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.

On Thursday, Governor Beshear made this announcement, adding that all state residents 16 and older will be able to sign up for appointments by April 12.

“Kentuckians deemed most vulnerable should still get priority, and they will, but we can’t have these vaccines sitting in a freezer. We are in a race against the COVID-19 variants and we’ve got to get it out fast,” said Gov. Beshear.

Beshear also extended the curfew for bars and restaurants by one hour. Businesses are now able to serve food and drinks until midnight and remain open until 1:00 a.m.
