501(c)3 and 501(c)19 Organizations Eligible For The Paycheck Protection Program

Organizations that qualify can start applying today.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) - During these unprecedented times, it is difficult not only for small local businesses but also for 501(c)3 and 501(c) 19 organizations and the clients that they serve as well as the way they operate.

The Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County wanted to let these nonprofits that are serving residents of Jefferson County that there are resources available to them through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.

Through the Small Business Administration, 501(c)3 and 501(c) 19 veterans organizations are eligible for the Paycheck Protection Program to offset payroll cost and other items, such as mortgage interest, rent, and utility costs.

Organizations that qualify can start applying today.

The community foundation would like to know that while their office is currently closed to the public, you can contact them via email at info@cfmjc.org if you have any questions or resources that you would like to share.
